Hanji Industry Support Center is

Korea's first professional institute of Hanji which carries comprehensive R&D for Hanji culture and industry, and educational programs for professionals.

Features
Operates experimental & crafting programs. Able to produce Hanji to fulfill the product purpose from own manufacturing facility. Design Equipment Dept., is equipped with professional equipments such as Laser Cutter, Bending Machine and UV Generator.

- Project Administration Room
  
  Interview room prepared to support network, marketing, technical difficulties and business start up to strengthen the competitiveness of Hanji related companies.
- Product Display Room
  
  The total area is 89.1㎡. Accommodates up to 40 people to participate to various Hanji cultural experiential programs.
- Hanji Manufacturing Room
  
  The total area is 254.1㎡. Recreates the entire manufacturing process of Hanji by using real equipments, and allows audience to participate to production and dyeing of Hanji.
- Lobby
  
  Total area is 76㎡. Lobby furnishes waiting area and lounge.
- Public Information Room
  
  The total area is 191.4㎡. Composed 4 themes from birth to future, and see everything about Hanji through various promotional mediums.
- Project Exhibition Room
  
  The total size is 89.1㎡, and holds regular planned exhibition related to Hanji.
- R&D Room
  
  Conducts research for quality improvement of Hanji such as, development of new material/products, applied product study, test, analysis, standardization, quality certification research, national tasks and commissioned researches.
- Pulp and Paper manufacturing Room
  
  Support to develop efficient sheeting process and analysis tasks by producing various pulps and sheets to provide useful sheeting condition from production site.
- Electron Microscope Room
  
  Support surface analysis of Hanji which requires to observe the microstructure using electron microscope allows extra definition of magnified image.
- QC Lab (isothermal-isohumidity controled)
  
  Support quality certification tasks through instrumental and test analysis.
- Material Development Room
  
  Support material development and an elementary analysis.
- Design Development Room
  
  Conducts various tasks of corporate design and marketing support, joint research development, design staff training, new technology incubation, equipment and facility support.
- Development Room for Hanji-applied Product
  
  - Operates design equipments for practicalization of Hanji crafts. (Laser Cutter, Bending Machine, UV Generator, etc.)
  
  - Work place of outcomes using digital technology.
- Seminar Room
  
  - Space for special lecture and seminars.
  
  - Equipped with presentation equipments.
- Computer Education Room
  
  - Provide computer skill training up to 16 people at a time.
  
  - Training space to provide digital tasks.
- Conference Room
  
  - Space for special lecture and seminars.
  
  - Equipped with presentation equipments.
